How To Gain Consumer Confidence Through Ticketing

15:00 - 15:45
Virtual Room: Stage

Ticketing is a necessary component of any event be it paid or not. Technology has allowed ticketing companies, promoters and venue owners to increase their yield and efficiency. However some customers still see ticketing in a negative light. Stability, refunds, delays, administrative costs and even credibility are moot points. We bring together some industry experts to talk about innovation, technology, delivery , transparency and also the state of the industry today. What can we all do to bring a little more confidence to customers in light of the current situation and beyond.

The Role Of Journalism And PR In Increasing Industry Self Confidence

15:45 - 16:30
Virtual Room: Stage

The definition of media is wider than ever. From traditional and new media to blogs, micro blogs, influencer posts and more, the ways ‘news’ is consumed is almost as varied as it is churned. Fluff pieces and click bait editorial sit among serious op-Eds and proper reporting. The consumer inundated with information can get easily swayed with misleading headlines and articles. The role and credibility of journalism is more important than ever to bring confidence back to the market. Strong positive but credible communication should take to the fore. We gather a cross section of media and specialists to discuss the role we all have in creating a stronger and more credible industry.
